Eat out at Malacca.

New eat place(s) at Malacca..

Check it out...

~ Bukit China Soya Bean House ( 07 Nov) ~

Guat Sin mentioned that this Soya Bean House has been around since she was young. The old Soya Bean House was located opposite Capitol Satay Celup shop.

Tau Fu Fa with Ice Cream! Tell you what.....

Sigh!! We were there near 5pm, however.... stupid Soya Bean House's tau fu fa were all sold out!

Guat Sin and I.

We had soya bean drinks and some snacks (toast, waffle and seafood bean curd's photos have been accidentally deleted by me >.<...) The recommended bean curds were soft and delicious. The soya bean drink was okay only. Hmmm, i think the one sold at Gelang Patah's pasar malam is nicer.

~ Vietnamese Steamboat (07 Nov) ~

Hahaha... not this, this is Malacca Nasi Lemak... The steamboat was not ready, so 3 of us shared this packet of rice... (starving trio)...

Guat Sin and Yu Chuon... Super hao lian (arrogant) of us... people will come Malacca for local food.. We Malaccan will aim for other specialties... teeheehee... Dun hit me, is normal loo...

This is the legendary Vietnam Coffee. It's taste was so weird. Coffee lover like me also cannot take it... This glass of coffee level remained the same when we left, =.=!! only managed to tried 2 times/sips... awful taste...$$ wasted ...

Sitting at the jonker walk street side enjoying our dinner... easy and breezy... hmm, next time should try beer!

The left side was the vietnamese's soup and the right is the normal steamboat soup.

The vietnamese soup is surprisingly yummy and appertizing... The steamboat ingredients were all the same in anywhere else, is the soup that special....

The prawns are so fresh and so did the rest of the ingredients.. The boss is very friendly and kept on chatting with us.. He mentioned that the men (his brothers) are malaysian and the ladies (the wives) are vietnamese. No wonder they able to cook great Vietnamese steamboat soup! Applause..

~ High Tea at Nadaje (31 Oct) ~

Erm, ok la, this is not new... Just love them...

Tiramisu flavor.. Dunno why they need to make the humps on top of the crepe.. haha..

Banana Chocolate flavor.. Not bad..

Green Tea flavor .. 3 of us did not quite like the taste...

Perfect flower tea with the crepe ~ well, the crepe is not sweet, however, they are best served with tea due to its creaminess ~ ;p

~ New Lum Ki's Porridge Steamboat (28 Nov) ~
Ahem... 38 gui, porridge steamboat is not new to Malaccan like us..
Awaiting our dinner to be cooked. This shop is located ay Melaka Raya street. It was raining drizzily and what a nice choice & happy thing to have hot food like this.

Our portion, all dumped in...except for the vege and eggs..

When our food are ready, the New Lum Ki's are 90% full house...

This is the first time we try the porridge steamboat here. We normally used to go to Lum Ki restaurant few years back; which is located at the other end of New Lum Ki restaurant. Yup, this is Malacca, if the food is nice, you will see duplication of restaurants/food... We still prefer the other Lum Ki's porridge steamboat compared to this one.

Bye bye for now. More Malaccan goodies to come... stay tuned!
