80's Transformer has come alive! For the 2nd time!

7 morning 8 morning already queued up for "it".

See la, see la, the queue is as long as 1 km...=.='' Lam (a friend which I know for 2 years) and I have been queuing since 10+am until 11+am. We thought to give up liao, however lady luck stood beside me, we had the priviledge to watch Transformer 2: The Revenge of The Fallen from 11.45am to 2.15pm for RM8 per ticket, isn't it great?

I was a huge fan of the 80's animated transformers. I started to like to watch transformer when i had the chance to watch animated Transformer The Movie n-th years back. >.<''

Do you recall when was the first Transformer movie came into our life?

Answer: July 2007.

Main actor and actress. Everything can't be as it was with the 80's version. Sien. But but the trailer attracted me when I saw it in the cinema as I'm a big fan of special effects.
My expectations aren't too high beyond that but I'm still planning to buy a ticket, so I'm glad to watch "it" yesterday! Yay!

I really liked how they selected some of the smaller roles in the film, they had Anthony Anderson as a computer geek who is funny. Lucky, Peter Cullen still as the original voice of "Optimus Prime". I have been listening to his voice since 80's.

After the movie ~
Had our lunch at Elmigo.

Drinks for both of us. Green tea and warm water.

My lunch ~ wild mushroom cheesebake rice.

Lam's chicken chop.
Yummie ~

Japanese RM5 Store

Daiso, the Japanese RM5 Store, in case if you have not heard of this brand before, Daiso is Japan's No.1 ranking livingware supplier.

Spent more than RM50 last saturday after karaok session when i went back hometown...teeheehee...

Daiso Malacca starts to sell variety range of japanese food and snacks.
I bought 2 cookies for Tan (Malacca fren of mine where i got to know him during my internship training in Infineon Malacca 2001). Haha, to compensate for his late birthday present ;p...

You may get stuff like kitchenware, houseware, skin care products, tableware and etc at RM5 each only. I bought this chopstick and so far has used once during my dinner at Taman U last Thursday. Is quite convenient as this is to prevent to use the pastic fork and spoon, all we need to do is ~ wash the chopstick after used. Also, you will find is better to use this type of chopstick compared with the bamboo type chopstick, because it holds the food better! Kakaka...

Bought a cute handphone cushion/sofa ^.^ Just a normal handphone holder. This is the only one left on the shelf so i thought no one will buy the same one, and as if i have the limited one in Malaysia...nah....

This is a small hand held mirror for lady, not for me though, is for karen. Sigh, the mirror I have bought for her (as one of her presents) seemed to be used by someone...kanasai...is broken... =.= so paiseh... so I replaced with this one ><

Bought another make up purse for myself. What i have before this is quite big in size (nah...just another 101 excuse to buy one new one...) hahahaha...

The upper portion is what i have bought for Tan, the lower portion is for myself. I like to shop at Daiso. Even if you end up buying nothing which is very unlikely, it makes for great browsing!

Father's Day 2009

~ Is Father's Day ~

Nothing special... I bought a cake...
Dad cut the cake and he started to sing Happy Father's day's song with happy birthday's song's rythym... =.='''

Upper left: Elder bro has just recovered from severe food poisoning after consuming the tiny lobster in China. Poor him. Has been hospitalised in China for 3-4days.
Lower left: This year, Kok Wei joins us. Kok Wei is my cousin nephew (my cousin's son lar). He has started his study in MMU last week. Sigh, I used to carry him when he was a baby. Damn, time flies.
We went to Soon Fatt Bak Kut Teh's restaurant in Melaka Raya. Well, dad paid for the lunch. Wuahahahahaha...Wei, I returned the money back to him back right after the lunch hor...I forgot to bring my money...*shy*...

Baby ren chuan is enjoying his lunch and playing happily with the bowl and spoon.

Dad I know that i don't talk to you often enough but i love you very much. Thanks for all you have done for me. I love you. Please take care of yourself.

Side Track.. Baby ren chuan's update...

Charming smile from my precious nephew.

By the way, the pictures were taken when i "kiap" him with my thighs.

Walking Along Jonker Walk_Balinese Mask

Endded last week with a visit to Jonker Walk. YC's colleague has asked him a favor to buy a wooden made mask ><''. The Balinese, Thais, East Malaysians are very talented in handicrafts and wood carvings.
Jonker walks is unofficially said to be the Antique Street as many antique shop selling old artifact and antique item here.

The name Jonker is Dutch word for 'Jonkheer'. Jonkheer means prince or master. Jonker Walk is situated at the heart of Melaka town.

Yu Chuon (my ex colleague): Okay, I am going to buy this.

Jonker walk night market are in Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7.00pm to midnight. Suitable place for race and bargain item. Need to find colorful wooden clog or balinese masks? Yes can be found here.

If I am not mistaken, you will find street of shops selling masks, statues, shields, shrunken heads (made of wood mostly).

At the end of the day, Yu Chuon bought 2 masks which cost him around RM60. Guat sin & I were so surprised by the number of collections by the shop owner.

Eye opener ^.^

Tok Su Gung Malacca

We went for dinner at Tok Su Gung Malacca last saturday night.
Yu Chuon suggested to eat Korea food, so we decided to visit there for the n~th time. Haha..

Weird thing is, i never like Tok Su Gung at the first place.
Maybe i ordered the wrong food.I guess somehow the taste has turned to suit the taste of the locals.

Ever since the 2nd time i went for dinner, i fell in love with it.
Pic shows lady boss and her 2 kids. Ya, she is the owner of this Korea Cuisine restaurant.

As usual, we were served with few side dishes. Upon finished it, you may request for the second plate & it is non-chargeable. Great isn't it?

I particularly like this Steamed Egg on Stone Pot. Oh ya, we ordered sweet and spicy chicken BBQ meat, one ginseng chicken soup (must order!) and a kim-chi pancake.

After the main course, we were served with the Korea's Plum Tea, a plate of snack (I love it very much) & few slices of watermelon.

Each of us paid RM29.

Full and yummy.
