Walking Along Jonker Walk_Balinese Mask

Endded last week with a visit to Jonker Walk. YC's colleague has asked him a favor to buy a wooden made mask ><''. The Balinese, Thais, East Malaysians are very talented in handicrafts and wood carvings.
Jonker walks is unofficially said to be the Antique Street as many antique shop selling old artifact and antique item here.

The name Jonker is Dutch word for 'Jonkheer'. Jonkheer means prince or master. Jonker Walk is situated at the heart of Melaka town.

Yu Chuon (my ex colleague): Okay, I am going to buy this.

Jonker walk night market are in Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7.00pm to midnight. Suitable place for race and bargain item. Need to find colorful wooden clog or balinese masks? Yes can be found here.

If I am not mistaken, you will find street of shops selling masks, statues, shields, shrunken heads (made of wood mostly).

At the end of the day, Yu Chuon bought 2 masks which cost him around RM60. Guat sin & I were so surprised by the number of collections by the shop owner.

Eye opener ^.^
