杯子與湖泊 Play The Glad Game

The morale of this story is: We all slip into self-pity once in a while – after all, we're only human. The important thing is to cut the pity-party short and shift into gratitude. An attitude of gratitude will get you much farther in life than complaining and self-pity. Try it and see.

~ Pre Celebration ~

A pre celebration for her neh...

Is her bigday...

I have been staying at home for these 3 days ~ ya, a long weekend after another =.=''' However, this long weekend will not deduct my leave nor salary. Lucky

I have celebrated 2009 Happy Mother's Day for 3 consecutive days.
Haha, Shylne (a.k.a 38 gui) & KCST yours will be posted tomorrow lor, my mum sure comes first one. Blek.

I had these during these few days...
Yum yum yum..... :)
This is a special desert that my mum learnt from KL during my young days (young as during primary school ;p).

Sagu needed to be chilled in fridge after cooked and so do the coconut milk and gula melaka (a.k.a palm sugar or melaka sugar).

Sago Gula Melaka is one of the most popular desserts in Malaysia. The combination of spongy sago pearls with sweetly-flavored gula melaka (palm sugar) and the fragrant creamy santan (coconut milk), my god, the taste is really good!

One of my favourite potato inspired dishes is the potato porridge.
Serve in bowl and enjoy. :P”

Oh oh, it has to go with mum's other home made dishes. We love fish and vege. My parents will spend around RM100 to RM200 every 1 or 2 weeks for fresh fish from the seaside (instead of wet market ^-^).

Tada...barley corn porridge is one of my favourites deserts from mummy's cooking list. Haha, dunno who celebrate for who now, teeheehee.

Mum has been busy in daily chores.

Mummy has very nice temper and she has positive thinking which sometimes we think she is over positive liao. Kakaka.

After busy taking care of us all these years, now she has to take care of little nephew... still busy all the time...

Well, she has planned for it. Before she takes care of baby ren chuan, she has been busy high tea, shopping, travelling, dancing, gardening, and exercising every now and then.

I love you mom.

How long you have never hugged and kissed your mum?
This is one of the best gifts you can give during normal days :)
Gift for mother's day? Erm... she said she likes cake, so we will eat cake and dine out every year. Special gifts? Wei, we give during normal day liao lor such as cash for travel, to buy her stuff, bla bla bla....
Wish all mothers: Happy Mother's Day...

On the road

Evening View...

Took these pics when driving alone on highway.

Is not wise to drive back to Malacca from Gelang Patah (JB) when the sun yet set.

Sun glass is unable to filter the brightness of the sun.

Raining View ;p

The weather is worse but dunno why the photo seems not.

The road is whitish in color and is really hard to drive for those unexperiance drivers. Me? I have already used to it since year of 2007.
Note: Is not ok to snap pic during this time. I admit.

Niao ren (a good fren of mine) taught me to wear sun glass during this kind of weather. Really thank him for this special tip. With the sun glass, i am still able to drive 100-120 km/hr (normal speed) but of coz must have extra caution.

Bright Morning ^^

I like to drive in the morning. It is the start of the day (just like I like Monday).

Ei ei ei, smoke gets in my eyes?

Mother earth has been having many problems recently.
Hmmm, life is just too short to be wasted or regreted.

So, treasure your time with your loved ones.

Pa, ma, I am coming home....
